1920s-30s 77cm Tall PAIR Marble and Gilt Brass Ritz style Lamps

$1,750.00 the sumptuous Ritzy PAIR

In the Edwardian Louis XVI style such as you see in the London Ritz https://www.theritzlondon.com/gallery/, but probably made, according to the electrical restorer, Greg* in the 1920s or 1930s. The tall lamps are well figured marble mounted in gilt brass. Now wired for Australian standards, and 240 volts. We chose period style shades, but plainer shades can easily clip on the light globes. Cesar Ritz would have used apricot silk shades, or shades with apricot lining. His patient wife was the model he used as he experimented on the colour that would most flatter a lady's complexion. Only candle light is more flattering. If you want to be beautiful, avoid bright "cool white" light. Seduction is seldom facilitated by supermarket style glare.
