Table cigar box in sterling silver (92.5%), hallmarked for Birmingham, 1953, replete with a coronation portrait of a crowned Queen Elizabeth II. Made by Harmon Bros. Cedar lined. 540 grams. 17 cm wide, 12.5 cm deep and 4.5 cm tall. A very crisp example of Early Modern sterling silver for the masculine domain in the home. Now a useful box for anywhere. Feet on such table cigar boxes are unusual. Textured engine turned surface to disguise fingerprints.
