1974 Pencil Drawing by William Robinson (B1936)

This small pencil sketch was drawn on my paper while I was drawing under William Robinson's excellent tutelage at Kelvin Grove in Brisbane in 1974. Naturally I kept the delightful sketch and threw away my drawing. The sketch revealed by the mat is 12 cm by 17.5 cm. The bronze coloured Rococo frame is 33cm by 38.5 cm. William Robinson, born 1936, and may he have a very long life, has enjoyed an extensive and impressive carer and is now one of Australia's most prominent painters. His work graces all the major Australian and New Zealand galleries.

I am downsizing while closing the B&M shop so many things must go!
