19th century English Plate with Crest and Motto of Thomson


This English dinner plate is 26 cm in diameter. The pattern number on the reverse is in red, and is a over 6752. Quite possibly Minton, and the translucency of the porcelain is suitable.The border of the plate is in crimson, with a break for the crest, and motto. the motto is "Deus Prividebit": God will Provide. The gilding is a bit worn. The crest and motto are that of one of the Thomson branches of family.
