4 Mid-Century Modern C1960 Claus Joseph Riedel Champagne Glasses


As seen in the collections of the National Gallery of Victoria and Moma, New York, these glasses are from the Bruxelles range designed in 1957 by Claus Josep Riedel, (19 February 1925 – 17 March 2004) whose glassware manufactory was founded in Bohemia in 1756. Riedel was the 9th generation of glassmakers. The glass is now made in Kufstein, Austria. Claus Riedel was honoured with 28 design prizes and awards for his creations.

We have four champagne coupes/tall sherbet glasses (15 cm tall) for $400 the set of four. Each one is signed CJR to the foot.
