BIG Antique Oil Painting C1830 $3750

This large gilt framed oli painting is of a religious subject I cannot yet identify. The lovely early 19th century(?) canvas has been marouflaged (glued onto) a new canvas and stretcher. The frame is original, but a bit nibbled. The external measurements are 92 cm by 118 cm.

The style has loud echos of Henry Fuseli.

The imagery appears to show St Catherine with her wheel on the left.

Perhaps the saint holding the severed head on the right is David with Goliath's head. I don't think David was cannonised in the the Catholic Church. Beheaded saints include St Denis, St Peter or St Alban. Can anyone help me with the iconography?
