Bugatti Cabinet

We thoroughly enjoyed owning this cabinet by Carlo Bugatti (1856-1940). The famous family consisted of three great masters: the father, Carlo, renowned for his spectacular furniture, and his two sons, Ettore, the designer of the luxury motor cars, and Rembrandt, noted for his bronze sculptures of animals.

The National Gallery of Victoria has purchased a Carlo Bugatti throne chair c. 1900 in 2006, and this year, 2008, has bought a ladies writing table and chair.
