C 1795 Pair George III Sterling Silver Serving Spoons with Puppy

$420.00 the Georgian PAIR

Hallmarked for the end of the 18th century, 1795, London, George III, this pair of spoons is 21 cm long. The pair weighs a total of 120 grams. The spoons are by Thomas North cote and George Bourne. The crest is of dog. A mastif with a bone? Unfortunately, this crest is shared by about 50 families, so you would need the a shield and/or motto to narrow down the original family.
