C 1820 Flight, Barr and Barr Worcester Oval Dish

This fine George III oval dish is Worcester, from the Flight, Barr and Barr period (1813 to 1840). It is in perfect condition. The blue cornflowers enriched with gilding is reminiscent of Marie Antoinette's favourite pattern, the Chantilly Sprig. This English version certainly retains the elegance of the late 18th century. The impressed mark is a crown with Fbb below. We have some rare breakfast cups in this pattern and also a single coffee can and saucer and some plates. many of the plates are the preceding Barr, Flight and Barr period (1804-1813).
