C1807 Dublin Sterling Silver Spoon by Elizabeth Bainbridge

Lady Silversmiths are uncommon, but exist in most countries' history. Elizabeth Bainbridge is an Irish example. The spoon is 24 cm long, is decorated with wriggle work and bright cut, and weighs 58 grams. Hallmarked for Dublin, 1807, sterling silver (925%) with the maker's marks of upper case EB with serifs, no pellet in a chamfered rectangular cartouche.

Irish, and lady silversmith!
