C1880 French Banqueting Lamp now Electrified. 80cm tall!

This big, 80 cm tall French banquet lamp was originally kerosene run. It has been electrified, and is making a valiant contribution to our Christmas window, with a flickering candle globe safely imitating a flame. I have a horror of lit kerosene lamps as they are basically Molotov cocktails, as many old Hollywood Westerns graphically demonstrated. Electricity is much safer. Rewired as usual by Gregory's Antiques and Lighting. The glass is printed and painted with exotic birds. Add a little Belle Epoque flair to your festive season.
