C1880 Parian Porcelain Figure Emblematic of Drama

Standing 35.5 cm tall, this draped lady in the Graeco-Roman style hands a mask, indicating she is emblematic of drama or the theatre. Made in England about 1880 this Parian white figure adds a touch of pristine brightness, as well as references to the arts and history to any room. Parian porcelain is an imitation of the white statuary marble that comes from the island of Paros.
