C1910 5th Artel Imperial Russian Silver Sugar Bowl


The Artels were collectives of artisans. Each artel had to have at least five owners. Some artels were suppliers to retail firms such as Faberge. This high quality Art Nouveau sugar bowl is 14.5 cm wide and 9 cm tall. It is heavy, being 230 grams, and is decorated with a stream and waterside vegetation.
