C1920 (now antique!) Colourful Art ceramic Deco’ Vase

Lay people are often confused between Art Deco' (frenetic, jumpy and brash, Charleston, vibrant colour and patterns, Clara Bow) and Modern (smooth, gliding and streamlined, Modern Waltz, pastels and pale slipper satins, Jean Harlow). Here is a very Art Decoratifs vase with piles of colour and pattern in bands of Oriental flowers, in black and white bands, with a plain russet band as well. The handles are gilded. There is a small chip to the base.
