Chinese Export Hand Painted Crested Bowls, Rundle family.

Bearing the squirrel crest of the Rundle family and the motto "Unita Fortior" (United Strength), these two large lotus shaped bowls in the standard Chinese Export shape of the 19th century, but is late last century. We have a considerable number of pieces from this bespoke, hand painted dinner service. The wide band of peach is painted with orange and purple flowers and green foliage. The crest is on each side of the bowl. Each bowl is $125 and us 25 cm diamter and 10 cm tall.
