Porcelain Figure after Sevres figure of Boucher’s Flute Player

This is a 20th cnetury copy in blanc de Chine of the Sevres biscuit figure group of "Le Flûteur" of 1757-1766. The original porcelain figure was modelled under the direction of Étienne-Maurice Falconet (French, 1716 - 1791), after engraved designs of François Boucher (French, 1703 - 1770). A fine example can be seen in the Getty Museum, Los Angeles. An original would be an atmospheric price, so here is a fine Louis XV style decoration you can leave out of the vault.

22cm tall, 25 cm wide and 15 cm deep. It is marked with an inscribed Boucher signature and an underglaze blue crowned N on the reverse, and "Made in France' underneath.
