Russian Bronze of a Water Bearer after the Samson Fountain Peterhof Palace


The Samson fountain is an early 18th century extravaganza on the water side of the Peterhof Palace, near St Petersburg. It boasts many gilded bronze statues. This bronze is a Russian made reduction of one of those statues. It stands on a marble plinth. 37 cm tall. Late last century.
