Set 10 Mixed date C1811-1815 London Regency Sterling Silver Forks $1000

The motto is "Quod Vult Valde Vult": What he wishes, he fervently wishes. The cap surmounted with flames, in conjunction with this motto, is the crest of the Maunsell family of Plassy , County Limerick, Ireland. Plassy was built by Thomas Maunsell. founder of Maunsell's Bank Limerick, and occupied by him in 1814, needing, no doubt a new set of silver in 1815. See image of Plassy House, now part of the University of Limerick.
