With ravishing figuring this Coromandel wood box is wonderfully enriched with brass inlay and mouldings. It opens to reveal a fitted tray with most of its silver plated topped bottles and boxes. The two without metal tops are replacements. The sewing equipment is missing, so there is a collecting project for a new owner! Inside the top there is a removable mirror, which conceals the billet doux compartment. The font drops down to reveal two jewellery drawers with recessed handles. No key.
