A festively pink ground glass vase, this comes from the end of both Queen Victoria's reign and the 19th century. It is 30 cm tall, and is charmingly painted by hand, with a spray of roses and a blue butterfly. A strand of enamel pearls encircles the neck. It would look splendid with cut roses in it, or standing empty.
